THE MODERATOR: Here with Brooke and Lexi after the second round of the Dow Championship. Different format today. Just talk about how you guys bounced off of each other and turned in a good round today.

BROOKE HENDERSON: Sure, Lexi played awesome, was making a lot of birdies early, which really got the momentum and things rolling, which was great.

We cooled off a little bit on the back nine, had a couple lip-outs, but just try to go out tomorrow and try to make a few birdies and catch back up.

Q. Talk a little bit about the crowd here. Several more fans out today because it's Friday and Dow Appreciation Day. What have you noticed about this course and the fan support here in Midland?

LEXI THOMPSON: It's really great to see the amount of fans that come out, especially today. I wasn't expecting that many at 7:40 but we definitely got a pretty big crowd coming along for the back nine, but it's great to see how the community gets behind this event and what Dow does for this event and just the community in general. We're just happy to be a part of it and hopefully have a lot more fans on the weekend.

BROOKE HENDERSON: Everyone loves Lexi so it's fun.

Q. Seeing tomorrow coming down the 18th with the fan support and the walk-up song, how are you planning to embrace that little walk-up make different?

LEXI THOMPSON: She still hasn't heard the song.
