February 14, 2014
NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA
Q. Talk about your year.
JONAS VALANCIUNAS: We're winning, so I'm happy. Everybody is happy.
So that's the goal, to be winning. A winning team.
Q. How about your national team, do you plan to play?
JONAS VALANCIUNAS: Yeah, I will go with my national team.
Q. Do you have any hopes there?
JONAS VALANCIUNAS: Hopes? Only hope is to win. Every time you go into the championship, you want to win.  So the same with me.
Q. Who are you looking forward to playing with most on your team tonight?
JONAS VALANCIUNAS? With everybody. But, no, I don't have a special guy on my team, so I'm going to play like a team.
Q. What's your favorite basketball movie?
JONAS VALANCIUNAS: The Dream Team.
Q. The documentary?
JONAS VALANCIUNAS: Yeah, the documentary.
Q. What was it about it that you liked?
JONAS VALANCIUNAS: That's about‑‑ that is about my country, about playing. So that's the only thing I like.
Q. Did you have any idol when you were a kid?
JONAS VALANCIUNAS: (Indiscernible) Arvydas Sobanis, all those players. Back in the day they were the best players in the world in Lithuania, so I was looking forward to see those guys playing and get something good out of it. Sobanis is now playing in the federation.
Q. The last World Cup in Turkey right now was third place, a step ahead to the next one?
JONAS VALANCIUNAS: They did a great job in Turkey. They won third place, bronze medal.
So we got to do the same job or even better job.
