6‑1, 6‑1, 7‑6
THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.
Q. It was extremely hot out there today. How did you cope with the heat?
KEI NISHIKORI: Yeah, it was. I think I felt much hotter than first day I played, but luckily I finish the first one.
Yeah, I finished, you know, early today, so it was, you know, helped my body.
Q. What was the important thing to win in three sets? He came back very strongly in the third set.
KEI NISHIKORI: Yeah, was playing amazing, actually. First and second set I was playing really aggressive, big forehand, and serve was well, also.
But he start coming back. You know, he was playing little better than I think more early was going on.
But, yeah, I'm very happy to finish, you know, the tiebreak strongly.
Yeah, it was good match.
Q. How are you feeling in general? Confident now?
KEI NISHIKORI: Yeah, playing good. Good confidence, I think. And my body is okay. First one was five sets, but I was, you know, recovery well and played strong today.
You know, everything is good.
