DOHA, QATAR
A. MURRAY/M. Shanan Zayed
6‑0, 6‑0
THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.
Q. How do you feel about your performance today?
MOUSSA SHANAN ZAYED: First of all, I want to thank the Federation for giving me the wildcard. It's been such a great experience for me.
For today's match, it was a fantastic experience to be on the center court to be, like to play one, you know, one of the best guys on the tour. Andy Murray is the No. 3. So it's been a really, really tough thing for me inside, but I really appreciate what the Federation gave me this year. So was pleasure for me to be on the court and to play for my country.
Q. Would you have done anything different in your performance today against Murray?
MOUSSA SHANAN ZAYED: I start ‑‑I mean, I was only thinking about just to do my best, to do everything I can, because it's a really hard match. Everyone knows Andy Murray. Everyone knows how he is ready for the tour this year.
All I was thinking about was just feel good to do everything and just do my best.
Q. You're 19 years old, right?
MOUSSA SHANAN ZAYED: Yeah, 19.
Q. Are you studying or is tennis...
MOUSSA SHANAN ZAYED: Well, I'm studying and playing tennis at the same time.
Q. Is tennis your goal?
MOUSSA SHANAN ZAYED: Well, yeah. I'm really like, I'm really like ‑‑I mean, I really think about, I mean, start the 2014 season. I mean, I am more in tennis, you know, than study so far, but studies also like one of the most important things I have to do.
Q. You have just turned pro in 2012?
MOUSSA SHANAN ZAYED: Exactly.
Q. What are your short‑term goals in tennis?
MOUSSA SHANAN ZAYED: To do my best. To do my best. I can't really have like a really, really main goal because it's tough.
