FANLING, HONG KONG
Q. Wonderful round of golf, tell us a little bit about your day.
PROM MEESAWAT: Well, it's a beautiful day to me. I had two eagles on the par 5s. Everything was perfect. My round is very good. Just a little bit unlucky on 14. My ball was lying on a wood stick, and I didn't hit a good second shot and then I make a bogey on that hole. That's the only one mistake I have today. I'm very pleased with my round today. So still have to wait.
Q. There was an interesting statistic, apparently you haven't had an eagle all year, and here you come in this tournament and in the last round of the tournament, and you don't have one; you have two.
PROM MEESAWAT: I have two. You know, the first one is a good range to make the putt, but the second one when I was on the green, I'm thinking, well, how about two eagles today. And it's amazing, I just hole it. It's unbelievable.
Q. Tell us a little bit, as well, on 16, because I believe I followed you from 13 onward, that was really a turning point for you.
PROM MEESAWAT: Yeah, I missed my tee shot to the left and had about 180 yards to the pin and 150 to play out of the bunker and I missed a little bit and left my second shot in the bunker. On that par, I think it's very tough to get up‑and‑down from there.
Q. Especially after the bunker shot?
PROM MEESAWAT: Yes, from the bunker shot, and I hole it. It's a good turning point. I didn't drop the shot on 16, and just a little bit unlucky on 17, my putt didn't break to the right. Anyway, it's a good round today.
