Birdie 9, sand wedge third shot. 1.4, 5 meters. Birdie on 11, third shot with sand wedge, 5 meters to the pin. 12th hole, bogey, 3-iron and two putts: 144 meters to the hole with 9-iron.
Q. How has your game been? Do you feel good? What are your strengths, what are your weaknesses right now?
AKIKO FUKUSHIMA: I wished like yesterday. She wanted to go back to even today. That was a good for her reason.
Q. That was the goal?
AKIKO FUKUSHIMA: Yes.
Q. Is it your iron game or has your putting been better, what has been working very well for you?
AKIKO FUKUSHIMA: My concentration has been going well these few days.
Q. The putt on 17 that you missed, what happened there?
AKIKO FUKUSHIMA: The line was kind of hard to read and I just missed.
Q. What were your goals coming in here? Obviously you want to win, but were you -- did you feel your game was good enough to win at this point?
AKIKO FUKUSHIMA: Maybe I can wait tomorrow.
