KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA
THE MODERATOR: Questions for Min Lee.
Q. Any three putts today?
MIN LEE: Yes.
Q. Number?
MIN LEE: No.8 hole.
Q. Your ball‑striking is good. Do you feel good with your ball‑striking?
MIN LEE: Not really.
Q. Is this your first LPGA event?
MIN LEE: Yeah.
Q. Were you nervous?
MIN LEE: Very nervous. I couldn't sleep last night.
Q. Tell me about last night, and then on the first tee this morning, how did you feel?
MIN LEE: I'm shaking. Just very nervous.
I can't sleep last night, yeah.
Q. Did you have any goals for this week, to finish at a certain number? Did you want to come out and just play? Any specific goals?
MIN LEE: I just want to learn more about golf and learn from Yani Tseng, the practice round I play with her. I just want to learn with her.
Q. How was that round? Is Yani one of your idols? How did that go?
MIN LEE: My idol, yeah.
She teach me many things about golf and mental. Yeah, really helpful.
Q. You're the leader in the clubhouse. Are you surprised you're the leader?
MIN LEE: Well, first time (laughter).
Q. 5‑under. You're probably the leader for today. So how do you feel?
MIN LEE: I feel, wow, cool.
Q. Did you expect to finish 5‑under today?
MIN LEE: Just practice, I think.
Q. Your putter is an old one?
MIN LEE: Old one, yeah.
Q. How long have you had it?
MIN LEE: Well, two years.
Q. And the putter was behaving very well today.
MIN LEE: Uh‑huh. Only today (laughter).
Q. From the 1st hole you found the greens, the speed, all that. You got the feel for the greens?
MIN LEE: Yeah.
Q. So that makes you 5‑under today. No big trouble today in the bunkers or anything?
MIN LEE: Two bogeys.
Q. Tell us about these two bogeys. What happened from the tee shot?
MIN LEE: 6th hole, first shot into the bunker. Then putter, not save.
Q. Then the other one?
MIN LEE: The other one?
Q. What hole is that?
MIN LEE: 8th hole, 3‑putt.
Q. You were 2 on the green, then you 3‑putted?
MIN LEE: Yeah.
Q. From how many feet, the first putt?
MIN LEE: About 18.
Q. That is quite long. Was it downhill?
MIN LEE: Yeah.
Q. So these are the only two little trouble areas?
MIN LEE: Yes.
Q. How old are you?
MIN LEE: I'm 17.
THE MODERATOR: Thank you.
