AUGUSTA, GEORGIA
Q. Congratulations being at the Masters. Today probably wasn't as good as you had hoped. What do you think of how you played today?
HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: I had been doing well until yesterday and I think I just paid for that today.
Q. Was there one aspect of your game, putting, driving, anything in particular giving you trouble?
HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: I think putting was the worst today.
Q. Was there any point during the round where you had hope that you could turn it around and start scoring low?
HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: When I had a birdie at the 14, I thought I could make it from that point, but ‑‑
Q. I don't believe that he's going to get the Silver Cup this time. Is that a disappointment? He got it last year, so how does he feel about not getting it this year?
HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: Well, I think I'm very disappointed in the fact that I can't get the Silver Cup. But at the same time, my goal to be in the top 16 wasn't fulfilled, too. So I'm just disappointed in that.
Q. What will you do to come back next year? What will you work on so you can come back next year?
HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: I think I need to improve my putting and then I will come back next year.
