Q. General comments today about his round?
HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: It was a great first half and a really bad, a worse second half.
Q. Are you starting to become as well know as Ryo in Japan in golf as an amateur?
HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: Well, there's nothing I can say about that, only the people who can just decide such things is the galleries. I think those people (inaudible).
Q. You have the chance to repeat as the top amateur. First of all, how did you get the Silver Cup home last year? If you win it again, how are you going to get it home this year? Do you have room in your luggage?
HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: Actually, last year we asked ‑‑ I asked them to send it to me, but somehow it was stuck in my translator's house so I didn't get it until six months later.
Q. But you have got room in the luggage this time?
HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: No, I don't have it. I'm going to ask them to send it to us and then I'm going to ask the college, my college, to keep it for me.
Q. Compare your experience last year with your first Masters to how you are handling this year. Is it different?
HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: I just did the same thing as I did last year.
Q. Is the Masters the only tournament he's played in the United States?
HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: Just only the Open.
Q. When you were playing well, what was working for you so well when you were putting up good scores?
HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: The shot was really good when I was playing well. I think when I wasn't playing well, the shot was going to the (inaudible).
Q. Less control?
HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: Yeah.
Q. What day does school start again and what date is he scheduled to graduate?
HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: Right after this one it will start, and two years from now I will be graduating.
Q. So April of 2014? Do they finish their term in April, too? What does he study in school?
HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: Many things.
Q. When would he like to turn pro?
HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: I haven't decided yet.
