HEATHER DALY-DONOFRIO: So we're here with Na Yeon Choi. Congratulations on a great 5-under par round today. Can you talk about your round and what worked well?
NA YEON CHOI: I felt good in the morning, in my warm-up, and I had great day, almost I had really good -- I felt good about shot, every shot, and especially my putter was really good, speed was good and read was good.
Everything was good.
Q. Do you feel like this is a good golf course for you because you are a shot-maker with the small greens? Is this a good course for you?
NA YEON CHOI: I just try aggressive play, I think that help me a lot today, and I like the course, good shape.
Q. I know you've been working a lot on your swing, so are you happy with your progress?
NA YEON CHOI: Yes, I did, and -- yeah.
Q. Do you feel like it needs more work or you're happy?
NA YEON CHOI: I think I need more working about swinging and everything.
Q. How do you feel about the round, 5-under, great start to the tournament.
NA YEON CHOI: I want to thank everyone for coming here. I had great day today. It was almost perfect. My shot, especially putter, was really good for speed, and that's why I make six birdies.
Q. Because you're such a great shot-maker, do you feel this course is good for your game?
NA YEON CHOI: I think I like the course and they have smaller greens, so I try more focus on my shot, focus on my shot, and I like the course, good shape.
Q. How do you feel with the tournament being sponsored by KIA and presented by J Golf?
NA YEON CHOI: I like the Korean sponsor, make good tournament.
Hopefully Korean company make more good tournaments, yeah.
Q. How much tougher did the wind make the course today? Was it tricky on the holes?
NA YEON CHOI: I played in the morning but I don't think that bothered me.
Q. It seems like the wind is just picking up now so it wasn't a factor?
NA YEON CHOI: No, not in the morning.
Q. What's the reputation of La Costa among the international players? What do you think of it and what do you think about coming here and playing? Is it very well thought of? When people say "La Costa" what is the reaction of the players?
NA YEON CHOI: Actually I play first time this week and my caddie, he know the course so he helped me a lot about the course.
