Q. Was it a defensive day out there today?
ARNOLD PALMER: No, not really. It wasn't one of those days where you just go at it. I felt pretty good through about 13, 14, 15 holes and then I kind of made some dramatic errors in the last two holes particularly. You know, from the last five holes I was going pretty good. I hit a bad tee shot and I hit a couple of bad putts. One thing lead to another and what turned out to be a fair round turned out to be a lousy round.
Q. (Inaudible)?
ARNOLD PALMER: Yes, and I made six at 1. I 3-putted. Then I birdied 2. And, you know, that was some consolation I was back to 3. I made a couple of good putts for pars and then at 14, or my fifth hole, yes, I kind of started messing up.
Q. Was it physical, what broke down?
ARNOLD PALMER: My game. Actually, you know, I made some mental errors which bothered me a little. What hole was it? I guess it was the 8th hole. I hit one of my big tee shots that I haven't done in a long time and was in a position where, again, you ask about defensive versus going at it, and I was going to give it a shot at going up over the trees and try to get on the front edge of the green and changed my mind because -- I tried to lay up and hit a bad layup shot which is not my style, as you know. I never laid up successfully in my life. So that's about it. Anything else? We will give it a go tomorrow.
