NEW ROCHELLE, NEW YORK
Q. If you could talk about the match in general first, and how you enjoy match play.
ANGELA PARK: You know, I played really solid throughout the first couple of holes. I was I think 4-up after ten, and obviously we all know that anything can happen during match play. So I wasn't thinking too far ahead. But I always knew that she could come back from behind and still beat me.
I struggled on the back nine but I made it through and I saw them coming out, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, and it gave me motivation to do it and to actually win the match.
I was doing really bad when they came out, I think I was like down to 2-up and I was like, 'Oh, no, I have to pick it up.' But then I birdied the next two holes.
Q. What happened on 18?
ANGELA PARK: I think Silvia and I were a little nervous, because she's back from where I'm from and we practice on the same course. So it's like she went to my coach last week, so it's kind of like we have the same style, similar landing areas, same curves. I pulled it off and made the putt uphill.
Q. How long was the putt?
ANGELA PARK: It was seven feet.
