Q. 5 and 0 against Rafter before today. What was the difference between now and
previous matches?
SERGI BRUGUERA: I think I didn't like it and I was very tired and I mean, I was losing
so much in the Olympics and here I was like without any --
Q. Did the Olympics kind of drain you, physically, emotionally?
SERGI BRUGUERA: Very tough, yeah.
Q. You started to come back in the second set, did you really think you were going to
pull the match out or --
SERGI BRUGUERA: No, there was no chance to win that match.
Q. Is he looking sharper than normal? Does he look a little sharper this year?
SERGI BRUGUERA: No, I think he is like -- he is always a competitor, and is playing
very, very good.
Q. What have the Olympics done to your confidence?
SERGI BRUGUERA: Well, I don't know. I mean, only thing I know is Olympics give me so
much happiness It was very good for me. After my injuries my energy was really tough for
me. It was probably the most important thing for me.
Q. Did you feel going into this match today that you were at a disadvantage because of
the Olympic experience? Did you feel tired going in?
SERGI BRUGUERA: Yeah, practice was very tough for me. It is tough when you finish like
the Olympics.
Q. How about the hard court surface? Do you find yourself gradually getting a little
better on the hard courts?
SERGI BRUGUERA: I prefer indoors on hard court. I don't like too much hard court.
Q. You still have a doubles match?
SERGI BRUGUERA: Yes.
Q. How do you feel about that?
SERGI BRUGUERA: Well.
