Before we get to the winning connections of the Netjets Breeders' Cup mile we're joined by Dr. Wayne McIlwraith of the American Association of Equine practitioners. He is the on-call veterinarian today. Wayne is here to give us an update and account of the injury suffered by LANDSEER. DR. McILWRAITH: Thanks. Unfortunately LANDSEER suffered a severe what we call a severe comminuted multiple fracture to the canon bone on the right front just below the knee. The fracture was open, also known as compound, and it required euthanasia. ERIC WING: Any questions at all for Wayne here in the press box upstairs? Well, Wayne, thank you.
