Q. First question is were you able to talk to Min Woo at all before round four?
MINJEE LEE: Actually yes. I texted him and we just talked about a couple things. We were actually trying to figure out what to eat on Monday night. Yeah, just very casual.
Q. So how was it watching Min Woo on the plane? Obviously like not the most ideal. Was it good?
MINJEE LEE: Yeah, it only cut out twice so that was great. But I think the guy sitting next to me, he was like looking at me a little funny because I was fist pumping when he was like making birdies and stuff.
So no, it was a different experience. I've not watched golf on a plane before. It was first time for everything. It was quite fun. I really enjoyed it.
Q. When it cut out did you get like stressed out?
MINJEE LEE: A little bit because it was just before his like final putt from off the green. It kind of cut out then and I was like oh, my God. But I was like I just refreshed it and it worked again, so not too stressed.
Q. Did you look up amenities on the plane beforehand to make sure there was wifi?
MINJEE LEE: Actually no. A friend told me that I could watch it and it would be on live, so -- live TV was working on American, so it was good.
Q. Okay. So you mentioned that the guy next to you was looking at you funny. Did he watch at all?
MINJEE LEE: He might've been peeking a little bit here and there, but he was watching his own show, so...
Q. So when were you first able to talk to Min Woo after?
MINJEE LEE: So he did like a family FaceTime, so it was after -- I think he was walking to presentation, so pretty much like straight after I think, yeah.
Q. What did you say to him?
MINJEE LEE: We all your cheered and said congratulations. It was a really quick FaceTime; then we FaceTimed the day after.
But, yeah, no, it was a real quick congrats and good-bye.
Q. Did you have any advice for him?
MINJEE LEE: No. No. I think he did everything that he could in his control, so very proud of the way he conducted himself.
Q. I know he came out last year to support you here.
MINJEE LEE: Yeah.
Q. What's it like having family out?
MINJEE LEE: Yeah, I mean, it was kind of fun because, I mean, usually my mom or parents are out, but Min Woo doesn't come out as much because our schedules are very hectic, not always aligned.
But, no, it's nice. He came out with his friends and he was cheering me on, even when I wasn't playing good or when I made birdies. So it was kind of nice.
Q. And then do you know if he'll come again this year?
MINJEE LEE: I'm not sure. He might come out one day but he's getting ready for the Masters, too, and trying to rest up.
Q. And then I don't know if you saw, but you guys are like the third ever brother/sister duo to win on both pro tours. Wondering what does that mean to you?
MINJEE LEE: I mean, I think it's such a great honor and it's just -- only the third siblings to win on both the tours, so I think it's just super cool and something we can tell the kids, grandkids. So we'll always have that. So it can never be taken away I guess.
Q. You're a major champion. He's not a major champion yet.
MINJEE LEE: I think for him, slowly climbing the rankings. Obviously he's on his best world rankings now. I think it's like 22nd or something, so I think he's really working obviously winning again on TOUR, and I think obviously majors will be a big focus, too. I don't know if that's his absolute next goal. So, yeah.
Q. You're the older sister though. Is it fun to watch him succeed or are you kind of like, come on, dude, I did this first?
MINJEE LEE: No. Actually our relationship is just brother and sister. We're not really like golfy. We don't really talk about golf that much.
I think whenever he's doing well or I'm doing well it is a motivation for both of us to step up and do well, but, yeah, we don't really talk about golf too much.
He has maybe a bigger rivalry with me than I have with him. But he is getting better, so, no, I've got to pick up my game as well.
Q. If you guys don't talk about golf what do you talk about?
MINJEE LEE: Food. We love food. He's absolutely into all the foods. I mean, maybe sometimes our schedules or when we'll see each other next, only because we try to take every opportunity to see each other when we can because it's not too often.
But other than that, just like just normal brother/sister stuff. He's usually teasing me and being a goofball, so, yeah.
Q. He should come to Vegas if he wants some good food.
MINJEE LEE: Yeah, well, he lives here so he can tell me all the good food places.
