Q. All right, here with Lindy Duncan after her third round here at Wild Horse Pass. Just tell me about the day today. I know bogey-free and you put together a really solid round.
LINDY DUNCAN: Yeah, I finished on 18 and John, my caddie, told me I hit every green, so I was pumped about that. I didn't know that.
So, yeah, it was a solid day. My ball striking felt great. Yesterday was a little -- was hitting some poles and wasn't quite sure, and so I kind of worked on it in the warmup. Like didn't practice afterwards because it was just kind of a long, hot day.
But, yeah, definitely kind of found a little thing in my setup and then I hit really good today.
Q. How have you been adjusting to the conditions out here? I know the wind picks up in the afternoon and can be a little different than in the morning. Just tell me how you manage that.
LINDY DUNCAN: Yeah, it's been tricky wind. Thursday afternoon I was one of the later groups and it was really like gusty, so it would be kind of just like a consistent ten miles an hour and then you just get a gust up to like 20. So you're kind of just going with it.
But, yeah, it was kind of similar today. Maybe not quite as gusty. With the hole locations and the firmness and everything, it's definitely a challenge. But, yeah, I'm just trying to hit it as close as possible but still be conservative I guess.
Q. What number start is this for you this season?
LINDY DUNCAN: This is my third tournament. I played Bradenton, Blue Bay, and here.
Q. Third start. Hitting it well. How good is it to see you put together some solid rounds -- you're at the top of the leaderboard, so more than one solid round -- so early in the season?
LINDY DUNCAN: Yeah, I'm really excited about my game. I've been working hard on and off the course, and, yeah, I'm really excited.
Q. Last question: Obviously they've been calling this course a birdiefest. You know, got to chase to catch up maybe tomorrow. What's the plan? Can you attack out there and be aggressive or do you have to play more conservative in places? Tell me a little bit about that.
LINDY DUNCAN: I think if I have a good feel going, you know, with my swing and everything, there are moments where you can be aggressive, like on the par-5s.
But then there is a lot of the holes where that can bite you, so you have to sort of weigh the risk.
