Q. Okay, here with Gabby after her third round at the Ford Championship. 5-under today. Can you just talk about your round, especially I'm looking here holes five to 13. You had like six birdies in that stretch.

GABY LOPEZ: Yeah, it was a fun day out there. Very windy. Very challenging with very firm greens. You have to adjust so much to how much the ball is going to release and bounce.

But, yeah it was a fun day. My putter helped me a little bit on getting some up and downs on tough conditions. Yeah, feel that if I keep the ball in the fairway, we can probably get another low one.

Q. How would you compare today's conditions to the past couple days just for people that haven't been out here?

GABY LOPEZ: Yeah, I think they were very, very different. The first day almost no wind; second day a little bit more.

But, yeah, I would feel that just how the course is just drying up so much, the ball is just getting very, very firm and you got to think about the releases on the drives.

Even just around the greens it's very tough and very, very, very bouncy. It's hard to get the check and the spin enough to stop the ball, especially downwind.

But, yeah, it's fun. It's a fun golf course. You got to think, especially when it's that firm.

Q. And what would you say is trending in your game right now? What have you been working on and happy to see the results of this week?

GABY LOPEZ: Honestly, I just feel that everything is connecting a little bit more than before. Of course my putter has been helping me a lot lately to save some good pars and make some good strokes for birdie and getting that confidence back.

I hit the ball fine. Actually I feel that I'm hitting it good. If I can just tighten up a little bit off the tee and not be too aggressive. Sometimes I'm trying to swing it really hard. Yeah, try to keep the ball in play and kind of reduce those penalties. I think that will be fine.

Q. Last question: You participated in a Girls Golf activity yesterday. You were also around there near the I Got This Clinic. What's it like to see all that activation here at the Ford Championship?

GABY LOPEZ: Yeah, it's awesome to see so many little girls around, being able to have a chat with them. I think they're the next future, and being able to inspire them, being able to put a smile on their face and tell them that through hard work and passion and love for the game they can achieve whatever they want, if they want to become a professional player and hopefully that's the case.

And yeah, it's amazing to be a Girls Golf ambassador. We're going for the second million girls. You know, kind of help them to get involved with the game and being able to just stay in touch with it. I feel that golf is an education and it's so amazing to see how much it can evolve as a woman and being a mature person through so many values. I'm really thankful that all these girls are getting taught that, and at the same time having fun.
