VALSPAR CHAMPIONSHIP

March 23, 2025

Jacob Bridgeman

Palm Harbor, Florida, USA

Innisbrook Resort (Copperhead)

Quick Quotes

Q. A little short, but a great week, third place at the Valspar. How would you assess the week and just what's going through your mind right now?

JACOB BRIDGEMAN: Yeah, it was a great week. I played really good in stretches and kind of saved myself a lot with some putting and some stretches of bad ball striking but overall I played really good and I just got beat today.

Q. What was it like being in the final group in that spotlight for the first time on the PGA TOUR?

JACOB BRIDGEMAN: Yeah, yesterday we had a lot more people than today. Obviously the groups in front of us had some bigger stars so today was a little more relaxed, we were just staying back from all the fans today. But yeah, it was awesome, I like being there, being in contention and hanging around.

Q. What did you learn about yourself or your game this week?

JACOB BRIDGEMAN: I didn't play that well on the weekend and that kind of I guess taught me that I can compete with not having my best stuff. Which is cool. I thought a lot last year I had to play great to compete and that's not the case. So I was proud of that. I made up for some struggles in other areas of my game.

Q. Are there any shots that are sticking in your craw right now that you would like to have back?

JACOB BRIDGEMAN: Not really. I'm not that kind of guy. I don't look back and say, Oh, I should have done this, should have done that. I could look back the whole week and probably come up with 10 different shots, but that's not what I'm going to do.

Q. What was your favorite moment of the week when you look back?

JACOB BRIDGEMAN: The chip on, what was that, 15. That one was incredibly hard and I made it somehow, I don't know how. That was sweet.

Q. At that point you kind of felt like you were still in it?

JACOB BRIDGEMAN: Yeah, I didn't play 14 the way I wanted to. I had to two putt for par and that's a really gettable hole. I felt like I lost one there. But then I got it right back on that hole I might have even gained two because that shot was pretty tough.
