THE MODERATOR: Like to welcome The Bay Golf Club to the media center here at SoFi Center. Ludvig, we'll start with you, can you talk a little bit about today's match and the playoff atmosphere?
LUDVIG ABERG: Yeah, I thought it was good atmosphere. Obviously it's the playoffs, so a little bit different. Ultimately disappointed with the outcome today. Atlanta I thought played good, but I felt like we could have been a little bit better today in general. But overall it's been really cool to spend a couple of nights here throughout these last couple of months and get to know these guys a little bit better. We've had some cool moments, but today was not one of them.
THE MODERATOR: Shane, you've mentioned a couple times how much you've enjoyed this season. Can you, looking back on the first season, talk a little bit about the highlights and things that stood out to you.
SHANE LOWRY: Yeah, I suppose the first few weeks were highlights for us. We got off to an unbelievable start and we were looking for a while like the team to beat. Obviously I don't think we performed anywhere close to what we should have tonight or could have tonight, but, yeah, look, first season was, I had a blast. It was great being on a team with these three guys, Wyndham sitting at home, unfortunately, but it's been great to be on a team with the two guys here beside me, and enjoyed every minute of it.
Bit deflated about losing tonight really. Obviously would have liked to go at the finals next week, but that's sport, that's the way it happens. And yeah, but overall it's been a really cool experience, something six months ago I didn't know what to expect, but, yeah everything's been pretty positive.
THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.
Q. First three weeks you guys seemed pretty unstoppable. What would you say was the difference these last few defeats?
MIN WOO LEE: Last week the double hammer kind of messed us up. I hit a shot in the water, that doesn't help. Then today I missed a couple short putts. Just kind of critical moments like that. I think the first few weeks we were on the right side of it and the last couple weeks we were on the wrong side of it. So, yeah, it sucks to be on this side.
Q. I know you were missing Hammer Clark tonight, but you guys were the best scoring team all year in triples. What do you think allowed you guys to work so cohesively together and particularly in that alt-shot portion?
LUDVIG ABERG: Yeah, I think we're a good team, we're obviously really good players, and I think we work really well together. We have fun, it's a cool environment to be in. It's a cool, sort of interesting to have three guys read a putt, it doesn't happen too often. But felt like we sort of became pretty good on the same page pretty quickly on those things, I think very similar on a lot of things that, with the way that we play golf. So it's been really cool and I guess right now we're a little disappointed, but we have a lot to look back on and being very positive.
Q. Seems like the more matches we see the more we see the team that makes the putts wins the match. What do you think it is about TGL --
SHANE LOWRY: That's golf. That's golf.
Q. But yeah, emphasizes it more at TGL than maybe you might see outside on the course.
SHANE LOWRY: I think that's golf. I think if you watch the Ryder Cup every two years the team that holes the most putts wins the Ryder Cup. And I think that's just team golf. The team that gets off to the best start generally wins. And the team that holes the most putts. It's kind of simple. Obviously you need to keep the destructive shots out which we had a couple tonight. But yeah, I just think that's golf. That's generally -- like even week-in, week-out on the PGA TOUR the guy who putts the best has a great chance to win.
Q. I know this is a tough night for the team in general. Can you take a deep dive into this season, this league, what it's meant for you, what it's meant for golf and this community?
SHANE LOWRY: I suppose like I said earlier it's been -- six months ago I didn't know what to expect. I liked my team straight away when we got put together. I thought we've got some great players and great guys as well. It's important to have a mix of both because you're around each other a lot. But overall the whole experience I think has just been really cool. Different, obviously, you know we play week-in, week-out on the PGA TOUR, and it can get a bit monotonous at times being on your own, especially when things are not going well. When things are going well it's easy, but to have something different to kind of look forward to every couple of weeks is pretty cool. Yeah, I've nothing but good things to say about my experience at TGL.
