Q. You're one of the faces of this league. To win on the other side of the world where we're trying to grow the game and the way you played today, how meaningful is this win?

SERGIO GARCIA: Yeah, it was great. Obviously I knew that I had to play well. My goal starting the day was to shoot 5-under, which was going to help me and the team. Didn't hit the best tee shot on 18, but I knew that we were tied or one ahead, so I wasn't going to lay up, and I hit a beautiful 4-iron here and then obviously hit a great putt.

Super proud of the team. I think Luis made a birdie on the last to give us the team. Super proud of him after yesterday and how much he fought and everything, so it's been great.

Q. When you were young, Seve and José María took you under their wing. How much are you enjoying doing the same with your youngsters on your team which have led to a second consecutive team win?

SERGIO GARCIA: I love it. I obviously love it. I do have two young ones of my own that we also take care of, my wife and I. But no, it's fun. I really love this format. I really love the team aspect of it and trying to put my arm around them and give them advice if they need it or if they want it and try to help them be the best version of themselves on another golf course.

Yeah, it's been fun.

Q. You've professed your desire to play in the Ryder Cup this year. Are you hoping Luke Donald is watching because you've just played some pretty world-class golf out there?

SERGIO GARCIA: I think he's watching. We've been in touch, so I know that he's keeping an eye. The only thing I can do is keep playing good golf, and I just want to help the European team like I've tried to do every single time I've been a member of that team, and hopefully he will think I'm good enough for it.

Q. In a month's time, you're going to be driving down Magnolia Lane to play in your 100th major. How much are you looking forward to that now?

SERGIO GARCIA: Yeah, super excited about it. It's a milestone that not a lot of people get to achieve, so I'm super proud, super happy, and I can't wait to go there and just enjoy it. Whatever happens happens, but I'm just going to try to enjoy the week as much as possible, and then hopefully my game will show up.
