WOMEN'S AMATEUR ASIA-PACIFIC CHAMPIONSHIP

March 9, 2025

Elaine Widjaja

Pattaya, Thailand

Quick Quotes

Q. Elaine, congratulations on finishing the tournament. Today was tricky front nine but a good back nine from you. Talk us through it.

ELAINE WIDJAJA: Yeah, I was struggling a lot with my putting today. I missed so many birdie chance, so many par saves. But I was happy with how I'm hitting and how my short game is; just not rolling it in yet.

Q. How many times have you played this tournament?

ELAINE WIDJAJA: I believe it's my fourth.

Q. Fourth time.

ELAINE WIDJAJA: Yes.

Q. So next year is at Royal Wellington in New Zealand. Will you look to play that as well?

ELAINE WIDJAJA: Of course. It's always a tournament I look forward to every year.

Q. What's next for you? Obviously back to college.

ELAINE WIDJAJA: Yeah, I'm going to go fly back this afternoon and practice again and some college tournaments and I'm hopefully playing the Nationals.
