March 9, 2025

Vivian Lu

Pattaya, Thailand

Quick Quotes

.

Q. Vivian, just finished the 2025 Women's Amateur Asia Pacific Championship. How are you feeling after the week?

VIVIAN LU: I'm feeling okay, yeah. I'm happy with how I finished. I got better every day. But not the result I was looking for this week.

Q. How many times have you played this tournament before?

VIVIAN LU: I think this is any fourth one.

Q. Okay.

VIVIAN LU: I played this a lot, yeah.

Q. Lots of lessons learned each time you play though I imagine.

VIVIAN LU: Yeah. Yes, just the scale of the tournament. There is always something you learn about yourself and your game. It was a good experience.

Q. Back to college?

VIVIAN LU: Yes, heading back to college and then I've got a few events and then we play Regionals and Nationals. It's exciting.

Q. Looking ahead to next year, do you plan on playing this tournament again in Royal Wellington?

VIVIAN LU: Yes, I do. Of course I plan to play. It's at home, so I should be there.

Q. Have you played that course before?

VIVIAN LU: Yes, I have. I played it a few times growing up and I go down there a little bit. Yeah, it's beautiful there.
