Quick Quotes
Q. Sergio, well played today, 6-under par, bogey-free. You've always been regarded as one of the best ball strikers in the world, but what really stood out to me today was the confidence you had over your flat stick. What's been the difference?
SERGIO GARCIA: Yeah, obviously been working very hard on it. I just put this new putter in that I had from about six, seven years ago, and it felt very good the last couple of weeks back at home. I feel like I can see the line nicely and I've been rolling it nicely. So very happy about that. But obviously the game has been solid, too, so that's good.
Q. You've had eight wins in Asia. You're seeking a ninth tomorrow. What about Asia brings out some of your best?
SERGIO GARCIA: I don't know. I always loved it here. I love the people. I love the food. The courses, we play some unbelievable courses this week and next week in Sentosa. Super excited about it, and just trying to put on a good show for everyone here.
Q. Fireballs, you guys are seeking back-to-back wins. You're three back right now. You played with one of your teammates for the first time, a competitive round, Luis Masaveu. He seems a little deflated. As an experienced captain, what's some of the advice you're going to give him going into tomorrow?
SERGIO GARCIA: Yeah, obviously he would have loved to play better, and I would have loved him to play better. But it's always a learning process for him. I've been here for 25, 26 years. He's been here for about four months. He's got to think about how today went, what he was thinking, and try to figure out things to make these situations better.
But like I said, it's just a learning process.
