WOMEN'S AMATEUR ASIA-PACIFIC CHAMPIONSHIP

March 7, 2025

Pimmada Wongthanavimok

Pattaya, Thailand

Quick Quotes

Q. Even par today. That's pretty good in these conditions. Happy with that? A little bit frustrated?

PIMMADA WONGTHANAVIMOK: I mean, I had quite a little bit of birdie opportunity, but, I mean, the pin position was not easy today.

And then we all thought that in the morning the wind was going to blow a little bit, but, nope.

Yeah, and I mean, two birdies, two bogeys, I think I tried it limit all the mistakes, minimise all those easy bogeys.

And I think I did a pretty good job. I am quite satisfied in the position I'm here right now. We'll get it tomorrow.

Q. First job done in a tournament. Cut's made.

PIMMADA WONGTHANAVIMOK: Yeah.

Q. You said you left some opportunities out there. Will you be more aggressive tomorrow? Will that depend on the conditions as well?

PIMMADA WONGTHANAVIMOK: I would say the condition. I'm so prepared for the windy conditions, but we'll see the pin position in the next two days and then we'll adjust for that.

Q. Of course another cool opportunity on the horizon. Do you start to look forward to Sunday or is it just fairways and greens?

PIMMADA WONGTHANAVIMOK: I mean, everybody here has the same goal, right? I mean, I would stick to the plan and then do shot by shot. I feel like I'm pretty clear with my plan right now, so I think I'm confident to like climb up the leaderboard in the next two days.
