WOMEN'S AMATEUR ASIA-PACIFIC CHAMPIONSHIP

March 6, 2025

An Le Chuc

Pattaya, Thailand

Quick Quotes

Q. An Le, great start to the Women's Amateur Asia Pacific Championship. Talk us through your round a little bit. How did it feel out there?

AN LE CHUC: So this morning the wind is not too strong so I had a pretty good start with two birdies in a row. I think that gives my a lot of confident to get into the next holes.

So I made some good putts, some really good approaching. And the weather is good today also. So, yeah, I played better than I expected so it's a pretty good start today. Hopefully I do like this or better tomorrow.

Q. And on tomorrow, you must be confident going into tomorrow: home championship. Pa little bit of an advantage; used to this climate. What's the plan for tomorrow?

AN LE CHUC: Tomorrow I'll be -- first, getting into this tournament I actually wanted to -- only thing I wanted is to make the cut, which is better than last year I think.

So I just try to do -- I know that I will play in the afternoon tomorrow which is harder because the wind is stronger, so I just kind of keep the score low and like comfortable so it would be safety.
