Q. Really well-played this week. I think this is your best finish in this event. What do you think has worked so well?

GABY LOPEZ: I'm very happy with how the week went. You know, it's always this feeling that you could have done a little bit better but I'm very happy, very proud after last week. I was in the hospital in Thailand. Was feeling sick. Pushed through that week, and yeah, prepared myself day-by-day for this event. I wanted to keep practicing, even in the heat, and so we pushed, yeah.

Q. To have a Top-10 finish in your third start of the season, what does that mean going into the rest of the year?

GABY LOPEZ: I'm super happy with the way we have been work. I think my caddie is spectacular. I give him a lot of credit for how he handled a couple of situations. We click very well on the golf course. The whole team, just my coach, my putting coach, everyone has done an amazing job around me, and I'm super lucky to be surrounded by amazing people.

Q. A lot of people have commented on the course setup and how good it's been looking this week. What are your thoughts on the course?

GABY LOPEZ: I think it has been the best year yet. I love every single time, how they put the pin positions, I know it's going to be a tough week. That's my week. I'm not that wedge and chip and putt player with 30-under, which is hard for me.

I like it when it's tough, and I like it when you have to think. I'm very happy with how the week went.

Q. A lot of young girls are out watching the golf. How nice to see golf in Asia growing?

GABY LOPEZ: It's amazing. I mean, seeing so many kid around, you never know who is going to be the next Nasa or next Se Ri Pak. So yeah, it's super inspiring, and this is exactly why the sport goes the way it goes; it's because of fans and because of the young kids. I was one time one of them. I was seven years old chasing Lorena Ochoa, and now it's them looking at us. It's a very nice responsibility.

Q. And lastly, comment on your week in Singapore, how nice is it to be at Sentosa.

GABY LOPEZ: I love Sentosa. I love playing in Asia. I love how the crowds welcome us. Thankful my husband is here with me this week and last week. So it makes the trip more enjoyable.
