Quick Quotes
Q. How would you assess your third round?
MINJEE LEE: I was pretty consistent all day. I stayed pretty patient out there. I gave myself a few more looks for birdie. You know, made a few, and didn't make a few. But I felt like the conditions were pretty tough kind of with the wind. I know we had a few tees that were up but it still counter balanced with the pin being in a harder spot. I didn't really feel like it was playing all that easy out there?
Q. In this golf course, do you think it suits your game? What is it about this golf course that you like so much?
MINJEE LEE: I definitely think it's a second shot golf course. Obviously in the game of golf, you need to drive it well, hit it well and putt it well.
But I think it really works in my favour because I like hit that part of my game, my iron play. I just feel like it suits my eye, and it's not the shortest of courses, either. So I think my length is an asset to me.
Q. A lot of people have said how well the course has been set up and the pristine conditions. Your thoughts about that?
MINJEE LEE: I feel like it's always really great here. Throughout the whole week it's gotten better and better as each day has gone long, and now it's playing bouncy and fast, and with the wind conditions, I think it's playing like a really great championship golf course should be. I'm really enjoying my time here.
Q. It's a tight leaderboard up there tomorrow. Is there anything key, do you think, to win? What are your thoughts going into tomorrow?
MINJEE LEE: I don't think I'm going to putt any added pressure on myself. Obviously try to get off to a really hot start. I think it's the type of golf course where you can't really hit them like super tight. So I feel like if you're putting from mid ranges on, you're going to have a really great chance.
Yeah, I just I feel like you've got to play the wind well, and I think starting the round today, I didn't have as much wind. So that was nice. But not sure what the conditions are meant to be like tomorrow. But I assume it's similar.
