Q. How would you assess your day?

SHANNON TAN: To be very honest I wasn't striking the ball as well as what I needed to, so yeah, I was grinding out there. I think I hit 11 greens out there, but yeah, up-and-down. I hit more up-and-downs. It's what I've been working on in the off-season.

I think overall, like off the tee, second shots -- overall, I grinded it out today.

Q. It's pretty windy out there.

SHANNON TAN: Yeah, Singapore is windier. But we're used to windy conditions.

Q. I know you mentioned you like to play in front of the home crowd. What was it like?

SHANNON TAN: Definitely really good. Even all the volunteers, whenever I walked past them -- and I see also a few friends they came out early, woke up at like six to come watch me. Very happy to see friends out there following us and have them supporting me out there.

Q. So your friends came and followed you throughout the 18 holes?

SHANNON TAN: Maybe like 15 holes.
