Quick Quotes
Q. Okay, here with Angel. 8-under today; bogey-free. I mean, what was clicking for you?
ANGEL YIN: I was hitting it good. I mean, well, actually, off the tee I wasn't hitting it as good as I was the last two days, but got away with some good lies and then had some shots and just came together, to be honest.
Nothing really stood out stood out. I had a lot of putts that didn't really go in. But, I don't know, just really came together.
Q. Ranked first in birdies across the field over the past three days. What are you doing to get those birdies? Hitting it close?
ANGEL YIN: Trying to hit it close and be on the greens. Greens are really tough. They're big, but they're really quite small, so I think that's what I'm capitalizing on.
Q. And first in greens in regulation after today's round, too. Anything special there?
ANGEL YIN: Yeah, good ball striking. I'm pretty grateful that that's working because this is a golf course that calls for that.
Q. And a lot of fans watching you guys today. You had a big gallery.
ANGEL YIN: I think that was mostly Jeeno. The whole country is behind her right now, so it's pretty cool to see. Awesome to see such a big turnout.
I think the last time I was here it was kind of like COVID time still and is it's really good to see the crowd showing up.
I think golf is growing in Thailand and I think I that's awesome to see.
Q. Great energy, too, in the final group. What's it like to play and have those emotions in a final pairing?
ANGEL YIN: Awesome. I mean, it's been so long to see so many people. For me to be -- I've seen other people be in that group, but for me to be in such an environment is awesome.
Usually we get it for Solheim, but I didn't make Solheim. It's so good to see people out here supporting golf, not just us but golf in general.
Q. And another question. You have a different caddie on your bag this week under unusual circumstances. What's it just been like to have him on your bag this week? His name is Tom, correct?
ANGEL YIN: Yeah, Tom. It's been great because he's actually a really -- like a professional caddie. He caddies on the Senior Japanese Tour and the Asian Tour for his player. Got a lot of experience and he knows exactly what's going on. He knows the course really well and speaks Thai, so it's perfect.
I couldn't have asked for a better backup caddie, honestly.
Q. Lastly, what are you going to work on before tomorrow, if anything?
ANGEL YIN: Water, eat, putt, hit, great mindset. I'm a dreamer.
