AKIE IWAI: Especially today I did shot well and putt well. Both.

Q. Is there anything in particular you've been working on in your game that you really think worked well today?

AKIE IWAI: Practice round, so I would say distance. Shot, putt, practice.

(Through translation) Distance-Wise, I think distance control because I think it's humid and I'm trying to do that on the practice rounds.

Q. This is the third time I played here, I believe, correct? What have you learned in your past times playing at this course?

AKIE IWAI: Getting know this course, so out position, in position, it depends pin position. So short side, inside, I know getting to know.

Q. Sounds like the pin position you really learned about.

AKIE IWAI: (Through translation) And I think I learn where to miss and not to miss, and management I learned each year. I am getting to know the golf course very well.

Q. One last question: Rookie out here on the LPGA Tour this year. What are you most excited about being out here?

AKIE IWAI: Trying to find all the good hamburger shop, each local hamburger shop.

Q. What do you like doing most when you're here in Thailand?

AKIE IWAI: Yesterday, two days ago I went to Thai restaurant with my friend, so Thailand (indiscernible.)

(Through translation) Thai food, and I think Jin (?) And Meechai are taking us to dinner and it's like a bunch of people and then they take care of us. So I really enjoy going out with other players.
