THE MODERATOR: We'll get started with Iga Swiatek. Congratulations, Iga, a very hard-fought win today. Can you just give us what the keys were to that match today, and how you came back.

IGA SWIATEK: Oh, I don't know, because it was super tough, you know, Linda played amazing. I just waited for my opportunities, and I wouldn't say there was one key, you know, because the match was tough, and we both played well. Like, we didn't have, like, one thing that, you know, kind of was obvious that it didn't work. I guess just keeping the intensity and waiting for the chances, and just being there in the right moment to push for more.

THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.

Q. How much confidence can you get winning a battle like this, with Noskova it's always a battle.

IGA SWIATEK: Yeah, well, for sure it gives a lot of confidence because, you know, getting through the tough moments during the match, and also, you know, trying to find solutions and finding it, it gives you a lot, so for sure I'm going to take a lot from this.

Q. Your thoughts on your next opponent Rybakina?

IGA SWIATEK: Well, I guess it's always tough, you know, so I'm not expecting an easy match. She likes playing here, she's been in a final here last year, and last year also was tough. So I'll be ready for some intense rallies, and some low balls, and good serving, for sure.

Q. Was this your hardest, your toughest win ever in Doha?

IGA SWIATEK: Yeah, I think so. But for sure, you know, also last year's final was tough. Maybe it wasn't that tight, but also the pressure that the final brings was a little bit bigger, so, yeah, but for sure I would say Linda played amazing, and for sure she didn't make it easy for me.

Q. This was the fourth time that you played a decider against Noskova, what does she do in order to complicate your mission on court?

IGA SWIATEK: I think every match was different, but today for sure she served really, really well, and she got some free points because of that. Also, I think she's reading the court really well. This is what Czech players usually do, but I think she's pretty good at, I don't know, reading my game, I don't know. Probably she also has like nothing to lose, so she gives, you know, hundred percent and it works. I for sure feel like when I play against her that her rank, like, should be a bit higher, you know, and she's probably going to get there soon.
