THE MODERATOR: We'll get started. Congratulations, Jasmine, on two wins today, singles and doubles. Can we get your thoughts on the matches.

JASMINE PAOLINI: Yeah, it was a good day, I won singles and doubles, so, you know, it's great to play here in Doha. I think I never won a match here, so (laughing) it's a good day today. No, finally I won a match here, and really happy about my performance with Caroline. She's a tough player, and I had many matches against her, so I think I play a great match, and I'm also happy, of course, for the doubles.

THE MODERATOR: Questions in English.

Q. Now that you're a top-5 player you have a busy schedule, do you plan to play less doubles in this way so you will not have two matches in a day?

JASMINE PAOLINI: You know, everything depends how the year is going to be, you know. I think that we're planning to play doubles in the most important tournaments, but, you know, everything can change, depends how I feel. If I feel good, if I play many matches in singles or not, so it depends. We are going to see tournament by tournament and, you know, I'm enjoying playing doubles, so if I feel good, why not.

Q. Next game against Ostapenko, what do you expect from that match?

JASMINE PAOLINI: For sure it's going to be a tough match, fast rallies, of course. Yeah, I think I have to focus especially on my serve and trying to hold it, and trying to make her run. I think it's not going to be easy, because the ball, it's coming faster, it's coming fast when you play against her, but we will see. I don't know really what to expect, but I hope it's going to be a good match.

Q. At the coin toss at the beginning of the match, if you win what do you choose and why?

JASMINE PAOLINI: I choose to serve (laughing). No, usually I choose to serve. I mean, it's better, if you win the first game, then you are up, if you keep holding the serve you are always, you know, up. But today I choose to serve and I lose the first game, so, you know, just trying to serve first and to have the advantage to serve first. It's not always like that, because if you lose the first game, then you are like 2-0 down if you lose then the second game, so I don't know.
