Quick Quotes
Q. Roelof, first of all, just a quick reaction to your round today. I know it was difficult out there with some of the windy conditions. Just talk us through the round.
ROELOF CRAIG: Yeah, didn't play my best today. Kept it together. Made a couple of good saves, and it wasn't my best round, but tomorrow is another day.
Q. You mentioned tomorrow being another day; what's the game plan, just reset and go out there and just play your natural game?
ROELOF CRAIG: Yeah, just reset and maybe be a bit more aggressive and just know where I want to hit it. Yeah, that's it.
Q. A couple of questions about your background in golf. How did you first get into golf?
ROELOF CRAIG: My dad is a very good golfer. Since I was a little kid, I've been playing with him. My grandpa is also a good golfer, so that's how I started.
Q. So it's very much kind of a family thing playing golf?
ROELOF CRAIG: Yeah.
Q. Whereabouts do you play with your family?
ROELOF CRAIG: Silver Lakes. Silver Lakes in Wingate in Pretoria.
Q. Are you part of the Golf RSA programme?
ROELOF CRAIG: Yes, I'm part of the Golf RSA national squad, yes.
Q. How long have you been a part of the national squad?
ROELOF CRAIG: Two years now.
Q. Who's your inspiration in golf?
ROELOF CRAIG: I would say probably like Rory or Xander Schauffele or Scottie Scheffler. I like Scottie.
Q. South Africa has obviously produced some major champions, Louis, Ernie Els, Retief Goosen and so on. Are they inspirational role models for you, as well?
ROELOF CRAIG: Yeah, no, definitely. I would love to want to play with them, too.
