Press Conference
A. CAZAUX/S. Baez
6-3, 5-7, 3-6, 6-0, 6-3
THE MODERATOR: Congratulations on the win today. Arthur, how did you manage to turn the fifth set and the whole match in your favor?
ARTHUR CAZAUX: Everything was tough today (smiling). It was a tough match against a tough player. I didn't play my best, but I tried to fight on every point.
Yeah, I think I won the match in the fifth set with the hurt. Yeah, because even if I didn't play my best game, I kept, you know, going. I still wanted to win today.
I did it, so I'm very happy.
THE MODERATOR: Questions in English.
Q. Do you feel that players that are your age, the sort of younger next generation, play differently than players like Baez who came up with trying to beat Nadal and...
ARTHUR CAZAUX: Yeah, I don't know. I don't think so. Like you said, there are a lot of very good players, young players who are younger than me, but they have his own game and, like, character. I don't know if they are not so different than other players, I think.
Q. You think the game has changed at all in the last few years where the younger players play more power or less power?
ARTHUR CAZAUX: I don't think so. I think physically everyone is ready. You know, even like when I see Fonseca, Landaluce, these young players who are coming, they are so strong physically. And yeah, now the physic is so important in our sport, and we can see, like, very young players already ready physically, so it's pretty impressive.
