THE MODERATOR: Congrats on the win. First of all, just in English talk us through the match and how it feels to get that first round under your belt.

JASMINE PAOLINI: It's never easy to play the first-round match. I didn't know the opponent very well. I never practiced with her, never played a match.

So, you know, it was kind of surprise. I think she played really, really great. We are going to see her in the future, for sure.

But happy how I managed my game, how I managed my performance. I think I played a really great match.

Q. The feeling coming back to Melbourne Park one year later must be quite different for you. Can you tell us how different it is compared to last year when you were a little bit -- you weren't featuring at the Grand Slams, and now you are fourth seed and you're playing on the biggest courts.

JASMINE PAOLINI: Yeah, of course, it's different, but especially before because last year I came here, like, Please, I want to win a match in this slam.

Then it happened. So I was a little bit more relaxed also. And, also, this year to come back, you see there's a big difference because you don't play a player that is seeded first round.

But, yeah, I'm trying always, like I say, always to enjoy the moment and try to fight every point and let's see what will happen. I don't want to put too much pressure on myself.
