THE MODERATOR: Questions.

Q. What was the most challenging point in the match for you today, and how did you overcome that?

HOLGER RUNE: Probably when he broke me back in the fourth set, it was tough, because I feel like I had the momentum on my side after I broke him, and then he made some tricky returns and just missed a few shots and had to, like, reset and found my focus again.

I think at the end was just, yeah, my fighting spirit helped me once again.

Q. I was just wondering if you had seen any of Fonseca's matches and if you had any thoughts on him and the fact you have been sort of been put in a group with him, Alcaraz, and Sinner now?

HOLGER RUNE: Yeah, I was watching a little bit of his match against Rublev. He played spectacular. There is no doubt about that. He has a bright future. If he can keep up that level, we're definitely going to see more of him.

I trained with him in Turin like year and a half ago, and I was always like he was hitting great back then even. Kind of like surprised that he beat Rublev but also knowing that he had a great level already.

Yeah, it was impressive.

Q. I'm from Argentina. This day the Argentina Open announce the entry list for the tournament. You are the second seed. Really good entry list. I want to ask you, what is bringing you back to South America this year after 2022, was your last time playing in Argentina. What are your expectations about this swing?

HOLGER RUNE: The sun brings me back (smiling).

I think it's a great tournament. Last couple of years I did the indoor season in Europe, and I was, like, you know, let's try something else this year.

You know, been in Argentina a few times, I think a few times, yeah. I enjoyed it. It's a nice tournament, nice city. Yeah, also going to be first time for me in Rio, which is really super excited for that. Nice to mix it up.

Yeah, it's great. Then after you have, yeah, Acapulco, Indian Wells, Miami, so you're already over there, which is nice.

Looking forward to it, see all the South American fans, which is great because they love tennis so much. It's a pleasure playing in front of all the fans there.
