Elena Rybakina

Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

Press Conference

E. RYBAKINA/D. Yastremska

6-3, 6-3

THE MODERATOR: Elena, your thoughts on your performance and being into the second week.

ELENA RYBAKINA: Yeah, really happy to be in the second week. Was a tough match for me. Dayana, she's a good player. Wasn't feeling physically the greatest. Happy to get the win today.

THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.

Q. The issue, the injury, how was it serious?

ELENA RYBAKINA: I don't know yet. Of course, it's not so good since it's lower back. But hopefully we can do everything possible in this one and a half day.

But for now it doesn't seem too good, to be honest.

Q. Today it's very hot, the weather. As for the day sessions, you usually play day. Is it your decision or the organization?

ELENA RYBAKINA: Well, I don't decide on the schedule, so basically whatever they put I'm just playing, so...

Q. A couple of words on upcoming match. Both of them are familiar with you. You've met several times.

ELENA RYBAKINA: Yeah, both very tough opponents. Both playing aggressive, have good serves. Yeah, I will try just to recover and do my best against one of them.
