Q. Another good round today, and a familiar place for you guys being at the top of the leaderboard. Can you talk about your round today?

VIJAY SINGH: It was good. I mean, we made some putts. We missed some. We missed a few. It wasn't so easy to make putts out there for some reason. The pin placements were a little different than what we played before.

But we came through. The back nine was strong for us. I think we made two pars and the rest was one eagle and a couple of -- a lot of birdies. He played well. He made some really good putts, you know. He made putts ahead of me. I didn't have to putt, that's a relief. Hopefully we can get it going tomorrow again.

Q. Were there any particular holes you'd like to talk about his putts that were particularly memorable?

VIJAY SINGH: The putts make are not, you know, like the last hole, it would be a bonus to make that. But the putts that you need to make is inside of ten or 12 feet and he made a lot of those.

QASS SINGH: 14. Made a good putt on 14 for eagle. But yeah, I relied a lot on him today, so I'm just glad he was there.

Q. Teamwork.

VIJAY SINGH: Teamwork.

QASS SINGH: His back is hurting a lot.

Q. And then obviously it's a very congested leaderboard and a great scoring day today even if all the putts weren't dropping. How do you reflect on a leash which has Tiger on it, and I know you've talked in the past about how that makes it exciting.

VIJAY SINGH: It's going to be a shootout. It's anybody within, you know, three or four shots have a chance to win.

This is a competition where whoever makes the most amount of putts are going to win. The tees are very spread out. So you've got to hit the ball good but putting is the key.

Q. And you're well placed.

VIJAY SINGH: Well placed. Just need another solid round and solid has to be in the 50s. I think if we shoot, you know, 10-under, we're not going to win. 12-under, we are not going to win. I think we have to be in the 50s.

Q. So what do you do now? Did you take him out to the range as you used to do for hours and hours?

VIJAY SINGH: Well, he needs to hit a couple of balls and I need to hit maybe a couple of hundred (laughing).

Q. That sounds fair.

QASS SINGH: Maybe opposite. But he needs to save some energy for tomorrow, and hopefully he doesn't have to carry me as much?

Q. PNC were announced as a sponsor through '32. Can you talk about that?

VIJAY SINGH: I think it's great. I think this is a very -- it's a very exciting tournament for a lot of people, especially for fathers and sons and all the families. There's a lot of family that come out here and enjoy this week. I think it's great for PNC to do that, and I think we all welcome it.
