Q. That went a bit longer than we all anticipated, but you finally got the job done. Many congratulations. A little bit nerve-racking at the end.

JOAQUIN NIEMANN: Yeah, I enjoy being in that position, but there's times sometimes that it takes a little bit longer. It was a good day. Caleb and me, we played great.

Never thought we were going to be -- that Cam Smith was going to have enough. He was early. An hour before us when he was done. I thought we were going to stay away from the 21-under, but you never know in golf.

Q. Certainly a very crazy finish. You had a bit of a topsy-turvy back nine, short little putts missed. What kind of mental resolve did you have to exercise to put yourself in position to close it out?

JOAQUIN NIEMANN: Try to hit it closer. Thank God I was pretty close on the last one, but yeah, I missed a short one on 15, missed a short one on 18, on the 72nd hole.

I feel like I've been hitting good strokes. Some greens are a little bit tricky sometimes. Like you said, I'm happy it's done.

Q. You started your year with a 59 and a win in Mayakoba. You ended with the Saudi International here in Riyadh. Overall, 2024 must be a pretty good year for you.

JOAQUIN NIEMANN: Yeah, it's a really good way to wrap up the season. I'm really excited for what's coming next season on LIV and hopefully get into a few majors.

Q. Finally, how important is it to have events and opportunities like the International Series to just keep your game sharp in between events on the LIV Golf League?

JOAQUIN NIEMANN: Yeah, especially this week. We're going to play the same course at the beginning of the next LIV season. My main goal is always to come here and compete and have a good look at the golf course. Yeah, we did that, played great golf.
