Q. 7-under par today, 11 under total. How would you assess your play today?

CAM SMITH: Just played really solid. I didn't really do too much wrong. Bogey-free game was nice. It was just really quite an easy round of golf, which is obviously nice.

It was nice getting out there this morning and no wind. With a bit of jet lag, being off early I think it kind of actually worked out in our favor. So, yeah, it was good.

Q. You played in Australia last week. It was quite a quick turnaround to come in and tee off Wednesday, right?

CAM SMITH: Yeah, I was still probably feeling it a little bit yesterday, particularly towards the end of the round. Like I said, this morning waking up so early was probably a blessing in disguise.

Q. How were the conditions today compared to yesterday?

CAM SMITH: Quite similar, to be honest. Probably not as much wind. The ball wasn't going as far. It was a little bit chilly this morning.

As the day went on, it got warmer, the ball started to go again, played more like yesterday afternoon.

Q. You're in a good position going into the weekend. What are you looking for?

CAM SMITH: A win would be great. I think also just being in contention on Sunday would also be great. I'm sorry, on Saturday. We started on Wednesday here.

Yeah, I think just another round, kind of stress-free round like today would be awesome, but we'll see what tomorrow brings.
