Q. Here alongside Lexi Thompson after 14 seasons out here on the LPGA Tour. Walking away from full time competition. We literally watched you grow up out here. Nearly half your life has been competing out here on the LPGA Tour. What will you remember about your time?

LEXI THOMPSON: I'll remember everything. The moments I'll cherish the most are probably with the fans, the fan interactions and with the sponsors. Those are the moments I'll really remember back because they made an impact in my life as well.

So I'll just really look back, and just I'm so blessed and grateful to have every single one of my fans that have supported me throughout my career and friends and family that have loved me, too.

Q. You've always made the fans a central focus, the sponsors, young juniors out here watching you. Always taking the extra time no matter how difficult or painful a tournament might have been to let them know how much they meant. What do you hope will be the lasting impact you leave with them?

LEXI THOMPSON: Just the impact that I made just to go out there and follow their dreams. Whether it's golf or anything in their life, don't let anybody or anything get in the way of you accomplishing what you want and going for it.

Good or bad days, I've always wanted to sign the pictures -- or take the pictures, sign the autographs, because they took time out of their lives to come you out and support me, and that's what mattered to me the most. Golf is just a game. As frustrating as it can be, there is more to life.

Q. All these years as you shift focus and begin the next chapter, what will you miss about life on the LPGA Tour?

LEXI THOMPSON: I think I'll miss the fans, playing in front of them. I keep on repeating that, but the fans are the reason I've made it this far and the support of my family and loved ones.

But having them alongside me every time I tee it up out here has meant so much.

Q. You've left them so many countless memories throughout the year and we appreciate you being gracious with your time. Congratulations on a great career.
