THE MODERATOR: Let's start the press conference with questions in English.

Q. Congratulations on the win. The pressure of playing the first match in the final of Billie Jean King Cup, can you sum up how you felt walking out onto the court, and how did you contain those feelings?

LUCIA BRONZETTI: Yeah, it was much tension today than the day before. Somehow I managed to do it, to stay focused on my game.

Yeah, was not easy, because we are in the final, so everybody is playing very good. Yeah, I'm so proud to represent this team and to bring this point to Italy.

Q. In the second set you had to dig deep. I wonder, what was that like for you physically, mentally to just make sure that you did it in two sets?

LUCIA BRONZETTI: Yeah, she maybe played a little bit better. Yeah, the tension came a bit, because I was close to win the match. But I tried to focus on myself to do what I had to do, and yeah, to play point by point.

At the end, I won, so yeah, I'm so happy.

Q. How important do you think is having won the first match in order for Italy to have the chance to win the Billie Jean King Cup?

LUCIA BRONZETTI: Yeah, I think that every point is important for the team. Of course for Jasmine, maybe to enter in the court, know that I won the first point is better than to enter if I lost.

So yeah, I think that every point is important, and we all cheer for Jasmine know. Is long still, so we hope to win this trophy and to achieve this dream.
