Q. Katie, obviously a tough result. You started off well. How did the match change from your perspective?

KATIE BOULTER: Yeah, I mean, I felt like I came out firing on all cylinders, kind of brought what I had yesterday into the match. Then I played a couple of points where I struggled a little bit on serve, didn't find my first serve, which was really important at the start of the second set, and she kind of gained a bit of momentum, started to read my game a little bit.

Yeah, to be honest, I gave everything I had. I fought with everything I had got on the day and unfortunately couldn't get the job done. I'm here, I'm still fighting, we're still in the competition, and hopefully the doubles is going to go really well.

Q. What is it about her that makes her tough?

KATIE BOULTER: Look, I mean, I have played her before, played her on the clay, and we had an absolute battle playing some of my best tennis on the clay against her.

You know, she's so solid. She's so good adapting to the game, and no matter how you're playing, she changes and she's clearly got a lot of confidence right now. She's won a lot of matches.

Yeah, full credit to her. She was better in the big moments, and yeah, she found a way.
