THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.

Q. My question is were you surprised about the fact you were playing against Bronzetti who never played a single in Billie Jean King?

MAGDA LINETTE: No, wasn't really surprised. We actually thought that the possibility, yeah.

Q. Unlucky today. That second set got so close. Can you talk a little bit about the mindset that you used to get back from 4-1 down?

MAGDA LINETTE: Yeah, I felt I was a little bit either not hitting, and when I was trying to be aggressive, I was missing. So then I just tried to, you know, tried to just get a little better quality.

Finally I started to get a little bit of a better rhythm and started flow a little bit more. Then it was just starting slowly to look a little bit better.

I felt like I was, like, struggling and, like, trying to find the balance between two completely opposite games, and then it took me just too long to find it.

Q. Did you feel the effects at all from the first match that you played here earlier last week? Were you feeling that in your body? Because obviously it was such a long match.

MAGDA LINETTE: I mean, obviously a little bit, because also we finished the other day also pretty late, so of course a bit.

But, yeah, that's life (smiling). That's tennis life.
