Q. Nelly, had the pleasure of following you again today. It seems like you go off for a few weeks sure recover and come back rust free. How are you able to come back as if you never left?
NELLY KORDA: I definitely felt a little rusty. More maybe a little bit nervous on the first couple holes.
Yeah, it sucks being injured and sucks not being able to go play in Asia, but I'm happy to be out here playing very close to home in front of my family, and just good little sweet finish on the last two holes, too.
Q. Question about that. Obviously the rust is gone; a little nerves. You played with Caitlin Clark yesterday. She was pretty nervous. Did you catch anything from that from her, any of those nerves from her, or were you impressed with her game?
NELLY KORDA: I was really impressed with her game. I thought she was very comfortable playing in front of everyone. We had such an amazing crowd. It's amazing to see how many people she draws into any sport.
It was fun to just get to hang out and get to know her a little bit, so hopefully we can create a relationship and hang out again.
Q. I think that would be fun for everybody. This golf course and you seem to get on very well. What's Nelly Korda's keys to playing this golf course well?
NELLY KORDA: Yeah, I don't know. It kind of is familiar, similar to my home course in Concession. It's all about just hitting greens, fairways. The greens this year are super tough. They're fast and firm.
I think with the hurricanes and all the rain they got a couple week ago the golf course is a little softer, playing a little longer.
Just really dial into your targets and taking advantage where you can. But that's what I kind of focus on, really focus on dialing into my targets and being able to take advantage where I can on some of the par-5s. It is a par 70 at the end of the day.
