Q. Here with Angela Stanford wearings her leis that were dipped in the cake that you received as you walked off the 18th. It was a special moment for you. What was it like out there during this round for you today?
ANGELA STANFORD: It was actually really peaceful. I kind of told myself going in I just kind of want to be me again. Be me.
And when I made the turn on the back nine I knew I probably needed a birdie, especially after the bogey on 12.
So I've just always kind of been a fighter, so let's just finish it the way we've been going all along. So it was great.
Q. You've talked about being comfortable whatever happens, whether you get into next week or not. Why were you comfortable finishing here in Hawai'i?
ANGELA STANFORD: Just seemed perfect. You know, I've talked about how my mother loved it here. I love the vibe. Every time I come here I play pretty well.
You're just kind of detached from everything. It's a beautiful place. Just laid back, easygoing, and just a great way to be finished if I'm finished.
Q. You have a lot more to give to the game I think, but not as a player. You're coming towards the end of your playing days. What do you think or want your legacy to be as a player on the LPGA Tour?
ANGELA STANFORD: That I love the Tour. That I never gave up. You know, I think if you would talk to however many caddies I had throughout the years, they would tell you with all my faults, the one thing I did is I never gave up.
Hopefully that's what people remember in me. And I don't know, that hopefully I just helped the Tour.
Q. Congratulations, Angela, on an amazing run on the LPGA Tour. We'll look forward to seeing you back out here in the future but not as a player. It's been amazing to watch and we really appreciate everything you've done for the game.
ANGELA STANFORD: Thank you, Tom.
