Q. All right, here with Nasa Hataoka. Nasa, how important was that final birdie on 18 today?
NASA HATAOKA: Yes, it was very important birdie and it was good. It wasn't good as yesterday, but still pretty solid round today.
Q. You had four birdies in five holes on your front nine. What was working so well on those holes?
NASA HATAOKA: My putting really good today.
Q. What were some of the best putts you had in that stretch?
NASA HATAOKA: Front nine? No. 7.
Q. What happened there?
NASA HATAOKA: I made 20-foot birdie putt.
Q. What is it about this course where you feel like even as the conditions pick up, you're still able to get the most out of some of those holes?
NASA HATAOKA: Yeah, it's pretty windy, but so many control shot with my iron, and hopefully getting closer tomorrow.
Q. How do you think you've been able to control the iron shots with the wind as it's picked up?
NASA HATAOKA: I work on every week hit some shape, and especially this conditions, it's really important I think.
Q. You've had quite a few experiences here in Hawai'i. What does that do when the winds do pick up and you think about how you've played in this kind of wind before?
NASA HATAOKA: Just keep patient to come to birdie, to get the birdie.
Q. What will it take tomorrow to be successful?
NASA HATAOKA: Still same thing, and hope I can make more birdie chances like yesterday and keep it up.
