November 8, 2024

Bianca Pagdanganan

Ewa Beach, Oahu, Hawaii, USA

Hoakalei Country Club

Quick Quotes

Q. All right, here with Bianca after moving day. Just what was the kind of mindset going on a day like this? Despite some annoying rain how do you to you feel you fared?

BIANCA PAGDANGANAN: I think I did pretty good. Like you said, despite the rain I think the conditions in the morning were pretty good. Kind of told myself if I could go for pins, that's what we're going to do.

But, you know, you can't really predict what's going to happen out there. We did get some rain, but it's all about trusting the numbers and the targets that you have out there, which I really tried to focus on that for today.

Seemed to work out pretty well.

Q. Bogey-free day; kind of a stark difference from yesterday. Overall was that the game plan, like you said, to attack the pins? What does it mean to have that turnaround?

BIANCA PAGDANGANAN: I feel like yesterday I played in the afternoon and it was really, really windy. I did have a hard time judging what my ball was going to do.

I struggled with trusting certain shots, so today I was just like, we're going to commit 100%, no hesitation, no doubts, and it turned out pretty good for me.

Yeah, not a single birdie yesterday, so yesterday after my round I was just like, God if you're listening, if you could give me a couple tomorrow. He sure did. Prayers work.

Q. How do you think you took advantage of the calmer conditions, especially as you said, wanting to have a couple more birdies on the card today?

BIANCA PAGDANGANAN: I don't know, I feel like some of the pins were still pretty tough. It's all about really playing smart out here, knowing where to miss. I definitely hit a lot more greens today which helped. Putting felt really good.

So I hit a couple of them pretty close so just tried to take advantage of those short birdies. But, yeah, bogey-free is always good.

Q. Lowest of the morning wave so far. How do you hope to capitalize tomorrow on the final day?

BIANCA PAGDANGANAN: No idea honestly. I am just going to chill. I was pretty chill today. My mind felt really calm. If I could do that again tomorrow, that'd be great.

Like I said the other day, the vibes are always good in Hawai'i. Can't be mad that I'm here. So if I'm able to be chill off the course, hopefully I can bring that with me to the course and have myself a good day.
