Q. Out in 37, back in 29. What changed?

THRISTON LAWRENCE: Not much to be honest. Hitting greens in regulation, two 3-putts and on the par 3s and two 3-putts from the fringe on the par 5. Played really nice golf on the front. Just putter was cold and hit a few tricky that I didn't feel comfortable. Awesome start on the back, birdie, eagle and got the putter going. Finished with 29, happy with that.

Q. First time laying with Rory McIlroy a full round. You played with him the one-hole playoff watt the BMW PGA. You told me you were looking forward. How was the experience?

THRISTON LAWRENCE: Yeah, it was great. I still remember saw going to the Nedbank Golf Challenge on my birthday, and he was my idol at the time and taking my picture with him. And now playing alongside him, it's a dream come true for me, and it's just great to see him play, how consistent he is. Yeah, it was a great two days.

Q. Coming into the week, second in The Race to Dubai with a chance to beat him with a couple of really strong performances? You're still in contention to win this championship. Your thoughts going forward.

THRISTON LAWRENCE: Yeah, it's a no-cut event so guys are being aggressive and it's a course that where guys can do well. You see Paul at 19-under. I doubt he will go 19-under again over the week.

I feel like I'm in a good position to attack and he's probably going to be holding on a little. Still want to win. That's our goal every single round, and yeah, just going to try and do my best and see where I finish.
