Quick Quotes

Q. Your thoughts following up yesterday with a 67. How was it out there?

THORBJØRN OLESEN: Yeah, got a couple of bad breaks which I probably deserved, you know. It was nice to birdie 16 and get the eagle on 18. Very nice way to finish.

Q. Golf is filled with highs and lows, and links golf does, as well, and you stayed very patient at times when you needed to.

THORBJØRN OLESEN: Like I said, it was a bit of a battle there on the back nine. I probably got what I deserved, and that's what golf does. You get some good breaks but then you know you're probably going to get some bad breaks, also.

Yeah, it was a nice way to finish.

Q. Is the course playing any differently? I was a little surprised to see 18 is playing over par today.

THORBJØRN OLESEN: Yeah, I think in the afternoon, obviously into from the left, it makes it a lot trickier. Sort of like every day it gets a little bit windier in the afternoon. You know, there's definitely some tricky pins but with the conditions, with not much wind, it is scorable, and you can see that on the leaderboard, that's for sure.

Q. I did look at that stat before you made the eagle. You brought down now, but the following two weeks you have ahead of you, massive weeks, what's your thought process going into them?

THORBJØRN OLESEN: Yeah, it's two of the biggest weeks of the year I think. Great tournaments. It's always nice to play in the Middle East I think, and these two are massive. So everybody wants to finish strong here. Yeah, it's exciting.

Q. Paul Waring had his career-low 61 here and course record also. You do you suspect they are going to be making things a little harder going into the weekend?

THORBJØRN OLESEN: Well, I think there was a couple of tricky pins actually, but obviously the conditions are still fairly soft and the greens are so pure. You're going to see a lot of putts made. But as soon as this course, if it gets a little bit windy, it's a different story. It can be tricky.
